For 130 years, Freys Hyrverk has set the standard for premium chauffeur-driven transport services in Sweden and the Nordics. Established in Stockholm in 1896, we are one of the world’s oldest and most respected providers of executive transportation. Our heritage includes driving royalty and presidents, Nobel Laureates and business leaders, film stars and global icons. For decades, Freys has been a purveyor to the Swedish Royal Court, a trusted partner to the Swedish Government and foreign embassies, and the official supplier to the Nobel Foundation since 1901.
Freys Hyrverk is an established brand within professional transport and rental services and has been a brand operated under Inclusion Services International AB since 1 May 2025. Through this structure, Freys Hyrverk combines its long-standing operational experience and local market presence with the scale, capacity, and quality-driven delivery model of Inclusion Services International.

Our services are provided solely under contractual agreement and are not available to the general public. We partner with carefully selected subcontractors and suppliers who fully meet all legal and regulatory requirements for professional passenger transport. This structure ensures that every journey is delivered with the highest levels of security, discretion, and service quality.
Through continuous quality control, governance, and commercial oversight, we negotiate optimal terms while safeguarding the standards our clients expect. Access to our services is granted only through established agreements, ensuring clarity, compliance, and a consistently high level of delivery.

A Journey From Horsepower To Fuel Cells
Frey’s Hyrverk was founded as early as 1896 by Gustaf Liljedahl, a business genius, way ahead of his time. The creative entrepreneur was eager to find the perfect company name for his new horse-drawn vehicle company. The criteria was to attract attention and have a clear connection to the business. The source of inspiration became the nationally known galloping horse Frey, who the year before had won the 300 kilometers long-distance horse riding between Jönköping and Stockholm.
In the year 1900, the company had more than 100 horses in its Horse Palace, at Grev Turegatan in Stockholm. The business was developed with new services, such as relocation services for American travelers and horse-drawn funeral processions. During the beginning of the 20th century, the automobile made its entry into Sweden and Liljedahl followed the developments closely. But it was not until he made the assessment that it was possible to make a lot of money on private car services, that he in 1907 began to invest in a high-class car fleet. These investments meant that business really took off.
Gustaf Liljedahl´s spirit still floats free in the organization. Not least in terms of the company’s values, which are based on an obsession with customers’ needs. It´s deeply rooted in the employee’s minds having an uninterrupted focus on the details: punctuality, security, discretion, accessibility and service. With the brand promise ‘Driven by Experience’, Freys today has a place among the world’s leading companies in chauffeur driven car service. A result of constant business development and thinking big.
The vision is to deliver the industry’s most sustainable transport solutions, with the bold and challenging goal of expanding the vehicle fleet with the first hydrogen fuel cell car before 2030. On the day it becomes a reality, director Liljedahl will smile in his polluted sky.
